NEWS RELEASE: FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION THE ORWELLIAN NIGHTMARE AHEAD CONFERENCE ORGANISERS SPELL OUT THEIR ‘2020 VISION’ Expert analysts give their verdict on what the world will be like in just over a decade’s time… The year is 2020. The 2012 Olympics are long gone, and events at that world occasion have left an indelible impression on planet Earth. Subsequent successions of apparent ‘terrorist’ atrocities, lawlessness, and innumerable financial and material crises have created a society so very different to that which we find in 2009. Ian R Crane, founder of ‘The Alternative View’ conferences, the next one of which takes place at the Thistle London Heathrow Hotel from early Friday evening, 29 May, to late night on Sunday 31 May, is in no doubt that the current gradualist trajectory being charted by world leaders is one that will lead to a far-from-perfect outcome. “All the pieces of the jigsaw that makes up our potential future are out there in the mainstream media”, explains Ian. “The problem is that no-one is putting these ideas together to realise what this means for all of us. In essence, it makes George Orwell’s ‘1984’ seem like just the opening paragraph to what is unfolding.” ‘The Alternative View’ conference, already with hundred of members of the public attending from all over the world, has speakers dealing with topics as diverse as the dangers of Genetically Modified foods, the preparation of unelected leaders for a ‘post-democratic’ society, the true nature of wars around the globe, imminent legal changes that will affect human health, and even Professor David Bellamy OBE explaining why challenging conventional wisdom in science these days can be a career limiting move! “There is a tremendous amount of misleading propaganda posing as journalism in the mainstream media” noted Ian. “However, people are waking up in vast numbers to the fact that what they are being told in the news simply makes no sense. Our conference, details of which can be found at www.avll.co.uk, provides an alternative view of current affairs, hence the title for the event – we welcome anyone to come and join us who feels that something is wrong with the world around us.” The following article outlines just some of the facets of life in 2020, all of which have been assembled from statements made in the mainstream by those who control our destiny. Ian concluded: “The only way to stop things playing out like this is for the general public to peacefully come together. We have to insist that our elected representatives start doing their jobs - representing their electorate. It is unacceptable for them to continue to be puppets of global corporations and financial conglomerates, whose motivations appear to be centred on policies and practices which will drive humanity deeper into the arms of corporate slavery.” THE MODERN LIFE FOR JULIA IN 2020 It is a Friday. Julia is awoken at 6.25am by the television. It is not her choice to get up at that time. The corporation she works for deems that this is the most efficient time for her to cease her slumber and find out what is going on in the world. She has a choice of newsreaders – she goes for the two sitting on the comfy sofa, rather than those more dourly sitting upright at a desk. Many months ago she realised that either option presented exactly the same ‘information’. There was no difference in content across all the channels she could opt for. Her personal planner on the television dictates that she has five minutes less today to eat three of the five portions of fruit and vegetables allocated to her – she was ten minutes late into work on Wednesday, following another breakdown in the public transport system. Now that there is a monopoly on transportation in London, the corporation in charge has less reason to invest in renewal of the system. Breakdowns are getting more commonplace; her employer’s time recording system made note of her lateness, and the systems in Julia’s home was automatically updated to ensure that she makes up the lost time, despite the problem not being her fault. She made up half the time yesterday. She will be back level after today. The irony that the corporation she works for is the same one that runs the transport system is not lost on her. Food is strictly rationed, following the total collapse of the global economy at the beginning of the decade. Nutrients within available food are negligible compared to the food of the past – GM crops, brought in to standardise the colour and shape of fruit and vegetables, also had the side effect of drastically reducing their value to the human body. Julia has to take a stack of pills every day to make up for these – all manufactured to patented formulas by pharmaceutical companies, as pure herbs and supplements are now illegal. This came about on 1st January 2010, when a major piece of global legislation known as Codex Alimentarius came into force, which eventually led to the end of organic farming, and made it illegal to sell pure herbs and supplements in health food shops. Julia finishes her food, takes a glass of water from the tap, and immediately feels calmer. The amount of fluoride added to the water supply has recently been increased again, and a glass always makes her relax and become docile, forgetting all her troubles. Fizzy drinks and fruit juices, all now with the latest artificial sweetener added, have the same effect on her. She is grateful that they make her not care so much about the drudgery of her life. Dressed and ready to head to work, she runs her hand over the control panel next to her front door. It makes a bleep and the door opens – the Identity Chip in her forefinger saves her having to carry keys. It’s a quick walk to the underground station, and the Identity Chip also acts as a source of payment – she remembers how it was in the past, with credit ‘cards’ that would debit your account by punching a four digit number into a machine. However, the criminals had worked out how to clone these cards and commit fraud and theft. The ‘people’ demanded a more fool-proof system; what they got was a combined credit and identity chip under their skin. As Julia places her forefinger on the barrier terminal, it flashes red and denies her access. She’s had this happen before – must be some error at the World Bank. No matter, she’ll walk to work – she’ll be a little late, but the system will work out how she can make the time up. An hour later she arrives at work, a journey that would usually take her just ten minutes. When she strolls in to Reception, she is told to report to HR (known ‘affectionately’ as Human Remains, due to the apparent inability of anyone in HR to think for themselves). They explain that her finances have been frozen as she has committed an act of ‘terrorism’. She is puzzled until she is shown a copy of an email she had sent a couple of days before. She complained about having to make up time for being late, a situation caused by the corporation she worked for not sorting out the upkeep of the transport system they owned. The corporation does not accept such wanton acts of ‘terror’ against it. Julia apologises, is fined a month’s wages and the matter is resolved. At lunchtime, she knows she’ll do whatever it takes to get a large glass of fizzy drink with extra artificial sweeteners. If ever she needed a way to escape this reality, then it was needed now … Welcome to Julia’s world, and here are some facets of it … LAW AND ORDER Civil Enforcement Officers (formerly “Traffic Wardens”) have traffic duties removed from their job description, leaving them to police duties, as all their original tasks are done remotely by cameras, installed car-tracking devices, and support staff. Traditional police forces are still stretched to breaking point by dealing with the explosion in the number of ‘terrorists’ (for instance, people leaving their bins out on the wrong day, parking on pavements, and honking their horns at drive-through McDonalds’). This increase in lawlessness has followed on from the major atrocities committed at the 2012 Olympics in London, where a World Government sponsored ‘terrorist cell’ made it look like the Earth was being invaded by aliens, in an apparent re-enactment of Biblical prophesies. Elsewhere, a shopkeeper was killed for not paying his insurance money to his local corporate police force. A passer-by took video footage of the man being killed by the force. This crime of photographing policemen has not gone unpunished, and the photographer is expected to receive a considerable jail sentence for his illegal act. Thousands have been jailed for life for the import of illegal vitamins and herbs – in 2020, only branded pharmaceuticals are allowed in health food shops and other outlets. Vitamins have become more of a police problem than cannabis (now available as a relatively ineffective prescription trade-marked pharmaceutical). St John’s Wort and Echinacea are two particular drugs, the smuggling of which has reached almost epidemic proportions. Legislation is just going through the European Parliament to make it illegal not just to tend an allotment but also to grow any such ‘drugs’ in your garden, along with the failure to provide an annual detailed inventory of everything grown on your property; an offence which can lead to the property ownership being forfeited. Having seen voluntary euthanasia legalised for people with terminal illnesses, a Bill is currently going through the European Parliament to allow it for anyone with ‘just cause’. This will include the unemployed, the disabled, and ‘terrorists’ (effectively defined as anyone who disagrees with the State on any matter). ENVIRONMENT Mainstream scientists have been confounded by average global temperatures going down by another 1 degree over the last decade, since 2009 – “It’s just a blip – you just wait until the temperatures start climbing”, they declare. Temperatures have continued to fall since 1998, although experts insist that this does not affect their long-term climate modelling in any way, despite none of their models having been able to predict correctly the temperature changes over the last decade. Organic foods have been declared extinct. Scientists note: “It is difficult to tell what is and is not organic anymore due to GM contamination, consequently food labelling is now meaningless.” Environmentalists have been labelled as ‘terrorists’ for complaining at the massive decrease in biodiversity as a result of the Bio-Tech introduction of GM seeds in all countries, except those now labelled as the ‘Axis of Evil’. Carbon Dioxide levels in the atmosphere are still not levelling out, but the pollution of Earth’s air, soil and water by non-CO2 contaminants is increasing by the day, as companies declare they are already ‘doing their bit’ via their carbon taxes, and to do more would bankrupt them. Stocks of all grains continue to trade at prices higher than gold, thanks to proprietary seeds now being the only ones available, and their use as bio-fuels rather than food. Independent scientists continue to insist that there is a lack of nutrition in GM food, dismissed via a histrionic media as ‘a laughable conspiracy theory’, despite the irrefutable scientific evidence of diet related health problems continuing to rise at an alarming rate. Another runway is to be built at Heathrow - number 6 - to be paid for by an additional 2p tax as a further “carbon offset” POLITICS The new President of the North American Union (NAU - USA, Canada and Mexico), 72 year-old Arnold Schwarzenegger, declares that troops will be pulled out of Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Russia … “Soon”. He is concerned that China is considering calling in the NAU debt, believed to be in the region of 100 Trillion Ameros (formerly known as Dollars – this has risen from 12 Trillion Dollars in 2009). A military build-up in the Far East may be required to persuade China not to consider such action. The world population has reduced by 30% in the last decade, due to mass starvations, riots and contrived global conflicts. However, for all these deaths, the ‘war on terror’ continues to make significant in-roads into stopping extremism from taking an even greater foothold ... or so we are informed almost daily by the UN News Information Service! The Houses of Parliament, having been run as a museum for the last five years following the complete transfer of power to Brussels, went into administration today following record losses. Lifetime European President, Tony Blair, makes a tear-jerking speech mourning its closure. It is a time of much nostalgia, news programmes look back to the last ever UK Parliamentary election in 2010. With no party getting any sort of majority, the commentators joke about the winning party actually being “None of the above” – a massive grassroots protest saw 42% of the votes cast being for none of the candidates on the ballot forms, something previously described as ‘spoiled votes’. “We thought they were apathetic, when they just didn’t vote,” quipped one talking head, “but this time they were just pathetic, suggesting that none of the three major parties deserved their vote! Thank goodness none of them ever have to vote again!” The resultant civil unrest led to the instigation of martial law, and locally elected representatives being replaced by officials described as people who had received training from an international organisation known as ‘Common Purpose’ for just such a ‘post-democratic era’. Across the globe, the World Army is being mobilised to combat the new ‘Axis of Evil’ – countries refusing to be part of the New World Order and its structure of a single world currency, a single world bank, a single world government, and a single world religion. This ‘Axis of Evil’ – Japan, New Zealand, Croatia and South Africa being the four main ‘problem’ areas – are united by one commonality – none of them have any debt to the International Monetary Fund or the World Bank, allowing them to function autonomously from the global power structure. FINANCE The global financial crisis, which began in 2008, continues. In order to provide for further ‘quantitative easing’ of the economy, the North Atlantic Union is shortly to emerge, coming about from the amalgamation of the EU and the North American Union. The new Union will adopt the North American Union’s currency, the Amero, following the collapse of the Euro. Pharmaceutical companies continue to report record profits, mainly as a direct result of new drugs developed to fight illness and disease brought about by a diet of GM, processed and irradiated food. Addiction to prescribed drugs at birth is becoming an increasingly common condition, bad for long-term health needs, especially since the collapse of the NHS in 2013, but also incredibly good for the pharmaceutical industry. Since the passing of a piece of legislation called Codex Alimentarius in 2010, the agricultural and pharmaceutical super-conglomerates have cornered the market in synthetic complementary health medicines, with natural health remedies having been declared illegal. The major producers of military weapons and equipment continue to show significant profits as the World Army objective of stopping ‘extremism’ gains momentum. - ENDS - Notes to Editors: 1.
